Sixx:A.M. @ Gröna Lund | concert

Last Thursday some friends and I went to Sixx:A.M.'s concert at Gröna Lund in Stockholm. Sixx:A.M. is really good live and consists out of very talented musicians, who seem like very cool people as well. I had seen the band live for the first time a couple of days earlier, when they were playing at Graspop Metal Meeting and I really liked them. Both concerts were really nice, but I particularly liked the band at Gröna Lund!

NEDERLANDS: Afgelopen donderdag ben ik met enkele vrienden naar het concert van Sixx:A.M. in Gröna Lund in Stockholm geweest. Sixx:A.M. bestaat uit zeer getalenteerde muzikanten, die ook nog eens supercoole dudes lijken te zijn. Ik zag de band enkele dagen eerder al op Graspop Metal Meeting en vond ze heel goed, dus ging ze graag nog eens bekijken. Beide concerten waren leuk, maar het concert in Gröna Lund had net dat ietsje meer!

We watched the concert from the high eating place next to the stage, so we were higher than the stage. Very weird, but cool, because you can see the band play and watch the public at the same time. You might not always see the band very well because of the stuff on stage, but it worked fine for us.

We all really enjoyed the show, even though noone os us knew many songs. I did recognise quite some songs, because I basically saw them twice in one week, but I could only sing along to a couple of them. The band seemed to liks us as  well, because we caught a guitar pick and received a drum stick from the drummer. 

I had a really nice time and if Sixx:A.M. plays somewhere near me again, I'll definitely go check them out again!

NEDERLANDS: We hebben het concert bekeken vanop het eetstandje dat aan de kant van het podium staat. Dit plaatsje is hoger dan het podium zelf, waardoor je zowel de band als het hele publiek goed ziet. Niemand van ons kende eigenlijk echt veel nummers. Ik kon meezingen met een paar nummers, maar daar bleef het bij. 

Toch was het een superleuke show! 

Wij vonden de band heel leuk en als ze nog eens in de buurt spelen, gan we zeker nog eens kijken. De band leek ons ook wel leuk te vinden, want we vingen zowel een plectrum als een drumstok!
