Catching up with friends is like re-opening your favourite gift | friends

"True friendship isn't about being inseparable, it's about being separated and nothing changes."

I flew back to Belgium to celebrate the holidays there, catching up with family and friends.
It always feels so good to be surrounded by people who have known you for a very long time, who know such a big part of your life story (sometimes even the whole damn story) and who still love you more than anything in the world.

All of the friends I met up with while being in the country are truly amazing people. I didn't see my friends much this year, hell, I didn't even see some of them for literally a year, but we could just pick up the friendships were we left them.
And that is a wonderful thing!
